Influence Marketing

Word-of-mouth is one of the most valuable forms of marketing as it has been shown to influence 20-50% of all purchasing decisions. People will take the recommendation of a person they know and trust over a corporate ad any day.

Moving beyond family and friends, influencer marketing has weaved its way into a highly sought out form of personal recommendation. To demonstrate this, 40% of Twitter users made a direct purchase because of an influencer’s tweet.

Influencer marketing is word-of-mouth for the digital age. Your company can use people with massive online followings to advertise your products on social media. Here’s a breakdown of influencer marketing and where to start.

What’s an influencer?

A social media influence is someone who leads in a specific niche and can use their following to market products of companies who share the same customer profile as their followers.

There are different types of influencers and more than one might work for your company. Understanding how these types of influencers attract a certain type of customer will help you choose which one is best for your brand.

  • Celebrities
  • Bloggers
  • Micro-influencers

Celebrities are the most popular choice when it comes to endorsements. Major celebrities promote different products that are gifted to them or things they truly love or Instagram or Twitter. Some celebrities eventually go on to become official partners of a brand to create limited edition products and collections.

Influencers don’t always have to have a big name. Bloggers are a good choice for an influencer because depending on their field, they may have established a level of authority and expertise. Bloggers with strong followings in health, fashion, or technology have potential to spike an increase in sales with just one promotional post.

Micro-influencers have become extremely popular over Instagram. These people aren’t necessarily famous; they just happen to have many followers interested in a specific topic or product to make them a potential partner for a brand.

You may have seen micro-influencers with followers in the hundred-thousand’s promoting herbal fit teas, nutritional supplements, or clothing brands.

How do I find an influencer?

A large social media can be compelling enough to sign someone as an influencer for your brand. Don’t be so quick to send them your products just yet.

Ask yourself the following questions when considering a potential social media influencer:

a
  • Who are you trying to influence?
  • Who do your target customers trust?

An ideal influencer for your brand will need to be relevant to your brand. Remember that they will be sharing your company’s content and developing a following based on the market you want to target.

Resonance amongst your audience is another important quality for your influencer to possess. The potential level of engagement that a person can create with your target audience is incredibly valuable to your brand.

The benefits of influencer marketing

With the right influencer, you can reach a very specific audience that is ideal for the product you’re selling. By finding an influencer who shares the same interests as your product, you can assume their followers are the same.

A good influencer will be selective in what they choose to promote by rejecting those products they feel their audiences won’t gravitate towards.

Influencers want to get something out of your partnership. By creating content that is relatable, engaging, and sharable, influencers are gaining just as much exposure as your product.

With this motivation, the potential to go viral in comparison to a paid ad is much more likely. Organic buzz from these instances is a great way to increase your follower count and build up your email and targeting lists.

Even when a social media post is clearly marked as sponsored content, an influencer provides authenticity to your brand. An influencer that makes your product relatable by weaving their own story into it will receive a genuine response from followers.

70% of consumer’s value online opinions even if they don’t know the person. Influencers offer a tangible, human aspect to your brand that people can connect with.

Influencer marketing is only increasing in market share. While there are many benefits to incorporating influencers into your marketing strategy, take care to choose a person who embodies your brand and can reach your ideal audience.

How to guide for generating high ticket commissions….[

So I wanted to talk to you today about marketing high ticket programs online… When I started in internet marketing, the first thing I learned was affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is where you can promote someone’s product or service, and, you get paid a commission when that person buys.

What I loved about the business model was that it didn’t require that i have my own website, product, merchant accounts, or any of that stuff. All I had to do, was go and place ads.  any time someone bought, I would get paid.

So I started off promoting low ticket items like eBooks. The problem was… they paid out low commissions.  Lets say the eBook was $10, and I got a 50% commission, I would only make $5.

My goal was to get to $10,000 / month. And I realized that I would need to get 2,000 customers a  month!!That’s about 500 per week, or, about 80 / day.

That’s a lot of work.

I then had the epiphany that if i was to instead promote programs that paid out bigger commissions – at $1,000 / transaction, I could  reach my goal MUCH faster.I would only need to be able to find just 10 customers a month. What do you think is harder?  Finding 2000 customers, or finding 10? Exactly.

So, I started looking around at different affiliate programs. And that when I came across MTTB… With MTTB, they actually paid out $1,250 right up to $10,000 / transaction.

a

When I first heard about it, I was fascinated. But I was also very, very skeptical.  I’d never heard of a program  that paid such big commissions – it sounded too good to be true.

So I bought it for $49, knowing that if it didn’t work out, I could get a full refund. Within 8 hours, my MTTB phone coach was calling me back, and ready to get me started. They opened up Step 1 of the program, and started explaining how the business model worked.

Every 2 days, my coach touched base with me, and made sure that I understood what I was learning. So that’s how I now know that the program is legitimate. Anyway, this week I’m looking to work with 3 clients 1-on-1, and help get them started with the same coaching program.

NEWSLETTER: HOW TO MAKE A GREAT ONE!

Communicating with your customers and potential customers is important. Email newsletters are a great way to do just that. But more often than not, people will open those newsletters and not actually read them.

This means that all of that content that you worked hard to create is ignored and doesn’t help further your business goals. Getting people to read the newsletter is the missing link. Newsletters help people stay connected to your brand and give your brand a platform to speak from.

There are a few tips and tricks to creating a newsletter that people will open and read. Here’s how to ensure that people not only open your newsletter but actually read it.

Curate it to the extreme

People like it when newsletters find their niche and stick to it. Too often, people are inundated with content and they get overwhelmed. This leads to them not reading anything and your newsletter falling to the wayside.

Chose the topic of your newsletter carefully. For instance, if you are a brand that sells house inspection services, choose one house inspection service to highlight in your newsletter. Then, add maybe one other relevant piece of information that dovetails that that service.

People want to read your content, they just don’t have time to read a lot of it. When you are creating your newsletter, remember that less is more.

Put your personality on display

It’s tempting to slide into the carefully curated brand voice that you have developed. When it comes to newsletters, the more personal and personality-filled, the better. Your customers want to feel the personality of your brand shine through. Don’t bury it under jargon and sterile marketing-speak.

Be a little quirky in your newsletter. Write it from unique perspectives. Don’t be afraid to let the unique parts of what makes your business special come to life in your newsletter. Your readers will thank you (and be more apt to read your newsletter in its entirety).

Make your newsletter valuable

People don’t want a lot of clutter in the newsletters they read. They also want to get something valuable out of the newsletters they choose to actually open. Make the time your readers spend on your newsletter worth it.

a

In your newsletter, tell people a story, tell them why it’s important, and tell them why they should care. It’s that last part that is the most important. People want to know the “so, what?” of your content. Give it to them.

Always do something new, but keep it focused

Don’t be boring or highly predictable with your newsletters. People who open your newsletters want to get something new each time they open it. Make that open worth their while.

Keep your content and perspective fresh, but make sure you are staying focused on your niche. Going back to the home inspection example: you want people to know that they are getting a newsletter about home inspection, but deliver new things each time. Some examples: a checklist for spring cleaning, a guide to cleaning your pool, how to tell if your windows are losing heat.

Keeping your content fresh will keep your current readers invested. Keeping that fresh content focused on your niche will ensure that they keep opening and see your brand as an authority.

Keep the writing pure

Web writing has gotten a little convoluted lately. What with SEO, keywords, and click-bait headlines, the actual writing can get pushed to the back burner and the point of the content can be obscured.

Your newsletter audience is a captive audience. They opened the newsletter so they want to read it. This is your chance to communicate with them open and honestly without all the keywords and click-bait.

Keep your newsletter writing straightforward and to the point. No SEO here. Just good and solid content worth reading and sharing.

The Top 7 proven tips for email conversions

If you are new to email marketing, if you have a smaller list, or if you make less than $200,000 with your online business…

Here are the top-seven ways to increase your email conversions and get a huge advantage.

1. Ask your readers to ‘Reply if interested’

When you send your email to a list of subscribers, you should be sending an email at least once a week. In your weekly email, there needs to be a call-to-action that says, “Hey, if you’re interested in this offer, or if you want to learn more about what I’m talking about, just reply back to this email and let me know.”

You should always check your inbox to see how many people actually replied back—and don’t be shocked if you don’t get much response. Email marketing is just like any sale—it’s a numbers game.

2. Use photos to mix up your email strategy

The second thing you should do is mix it up by putting photos in your emails. People like getting pictures, especially photos where they can see other people.

This works great, especially if you are marketing some product that promises a better lifestyle or financial freedom. Show them pictures of you in those scenarios.

3. Improve your subject lines

Your subject line should never sound like advertising or marketing – ever.

The very first emails people open are usually from friends and family. Then they open emails from colleagues. But the last email they’ll open is from the Internet marketing guru trying to sell them something. So you don’t ever want your subject line to sound like it’s promotional.

4. Share your Facebook group with your email list

I think anyone who’s doing email marketing should also create a FREE community on Facebook group. Go to Facebook.com, create a “Group” and give it a name.

Then put the link to that Facebook group into your daily email and encourage people to come into your group. Tell them they will get things in the group that you don’t send through your emails. Position your Facebook group like its private exclusive club.

a

5. Segment your email list

Email segmentation is dividing your list into different sections based on their responses. You can segment emails in many different ways.

For example, you send out an email broadcast and you get a 10% open rate. That means 90% of people never opened your email or even saw the message.

So 36 hours later, you find all the people who didn’t open the email and you save them as a separate group. Then you email that group separately the exact same email message, but this time you try a different subject line. It takes you very little time – maybe 10 minutes at most.

6. Give them many different options to contact you

At the bottom of every single email you send out, you should try putting in your photo and different other ways people can contact you.

Simply adding ALL your contact details into every single email you send out can really help build better relationships with your customers.

However, if you would like information on a system that does all of this for you then you need the check out the link below.

You could be getting paid $1,250… $3,300… $5,500… and even $10,000 commissions for every sale that is made for you. CLICK HERE NOW

Good and Bad Backlinking Techniques

On-page SEO are techniques you can use to improve your chances of having your site ranked at or near the top of searches. Examples include using the best keywords, saturating your text with the optimal number of these keywords, and placing those keywords in the locations search engines like best.

Other examples of effective on-page SEO include:

• Including your keyword is in the page’s title

• Making sure your site has great meta tags, which are the description tags that appear in search engine result pages. Be sure to use to mark the beginning and end of your meta tags. Plus, make sure they are limited to 160 characters in length, including spaces.

• Including your keywords in your header tags (also known as H1 tags). These are the headlines that at the top of your article and within your web content.

• Including your keywords in ALT image text. These are the descriptions added to an image that are displayed when a user places the mouse cursor over the image.

• Making sure your content includes internal links. These are links that connect to your other blogs or other parts of your website.

Off-Page SEO

Off-page SEO is just as important as on-Page SEO. One of the best off-page SEO techniques is backlinking, or link building. The more links your site includes to other sites – especially sites search engines considered “authoritative” – the higher your site will be ranked by search engines.

The biggest benefit of backlinks is that they cause search engines to give your site higher rankings on search pages. If your site is in the Number One spot on the first page of a search for your niche, you are practically guaranteed to be clicked on by thousands, if not millions, of people every day. And if only a tiny percentage of those visitors actually buy something on your site, you can make a lot of money.

But if you end up anywhere except the top half of the first Search Engine Results Page (SERP) for your product niche, you aren’t going to make very many sales. At that point, it’s time to improve your SEO by creating more backlinks.

a

Good Backlinks vs Bad Backlinks

The best backlinks link to authoritative sites. These are sites that most people would visit if they were looking for specific information. Examples include Wikipedia, eHow.com, Wikimedia Commons, and others.

For example, assume your website offers automobiles for sale and you have included two backlinks on your web page: One links to Motor Trend magazine’s website, which says your site is a great place to buy cars. The second is to a food blog where there is a recipe you liked.
In this case, the first backlink would be substantially increase the value of your web page in the eyes of the search engines. The second wouldn’t help it very much, although if it had the proper keywords it might help your rankings a little bit.

Types of Backlinks

There also are three types of backlinks, each of which has different value by search engines:

• One-Way Links – These are links from one or more pages of another website to yours, without your linking back to that site.

• Reciprocal Links – These links connect to another site, and the other site links back to your page. Another term for this is link swapping.

• Three-Way Links – This is when you link to a website, but instead of linking directly back to my site, the person running that site links back to your site from another site.

The type of links search engines are one-way links because there is no reciprocity. Search engines also like three-way links because they look the same as one-way links.
Most links will add value to your web page for search engines, but stay away from getting backlinks from unsavory sources, such as gambling or pornographic sites. These will harm your site’s reputation among the big search engines.
